SURVIVING A MINNESOTA WINTER
The weather and I are in a fight. I've been bad talking this Minnesotan weather for awhile now and it finally decided to fight back. The first step I took outside my front door on Monday landed me on the snow and ice covered ground resulting in bruises and a lovely goose egg.
So I need to stop complaining and just tough it out. Hey, supposedlyyy there are only 13 more days of winter. But I feel like my calendar must be lying to me.
So for the next 2 weeks I will be hibernating with a few essentials to surviving this winter. These include:
-A fresh, clean candle to clear out the winter doldrums.
-Cozying up with my stories.
-Dry shampooing to avoid static and to cover up the fact that I won't be leaving my bed for 2 weeks.
-Wools socks, I freaking love wool socks! I steal them from my family and boyfran.
-Plaid scarf to live in.
-Aquaphor, God's gift to mankind. I literally would not survive winter without it on my lips and cuticles.
-Flannel sheets, because I can control the world from my bed and it should be soft and snuggly.
-And a nice glass of something warm. Or just wine in a mug.
