The boy and I are celebrating three years together today. For our one year anniversary we apparently set the bar extremely high. I remember we were sitting around discussing what was the one thing we wanted to do before the big End of the World fiasco... you know... just in case it really happened. And I mentioned that I would really be bummed if I was never able to visit Europe. Well by the next day he had bought tickets for our trip across the pond to celebrate our anniversary.
We wanted to keep it a simple introduction to Western Europe and in April we visited London, Paris, and Amsterdam. I think every day since the trip has been comprised of me scheming to find a way back. Can we get another End of the World crazy face to start preaching again?
Although we will not be doing anything as grand as our first year celebration, it will still be just as special and important. Less jet lag and foreign languages, probably more wine and cheese.
